Facilities

Doughty Street Chambers has six premises in London, one in Manchester and one in Bristol. Conferencing facilities are available at all three locations, with the main conference rooms being located at our London Chambers.

We currently have one large conference hall (capacity 65 seated), three large conference rooms (capacity 12 seated) and three small conference rooms (capacity 4-6 seated), to be used by our Barristers for meetings with their clients and instructing solicitors, training events, seminars and evening receptions.

All meetings are supplied with refreshments.

Accessibility

Chambers has meeting facilities on the ground floor together with a disabled toilet. Chambers has two steps that lead up to our main entrance, however we can provide a portable ramp for those with access difficulties.

IT/AV Systems

Each conference room has an IP phone handset, together with a conference phone to facilitate telephone conferences. Our large meeting rooms also have televisions with HDMI connections should you wish to connect your laptop. We have both a portable projector for use in any room and a fixed projector for use in our large conference hall. The latter can be used with the integrated PC or through a laptop.

All meetings rooms have free WiFi, the code for which is available from reception on request.

We also have video conferencing facilities, which can operate over ISDN or IP, dependent upon the other parties’ preference.

Events

Chambers holds numerous events in our conference hall throughout the year, varying from seminars to drinks receptions. Due to the number of internal events, the occasions we have available for bookings by external organisations are rare, but we do try to accommodate organisations who share our ethos. Should you wish to enquire as to availability, please contact events@doughtystreet.co.uk.
