Overview

Edward Rees was one of the founding members of Doughty Street Chambers in 1990. He has developed a criminal and civil liberties practice that has seen him cover some of the most influential cases over the last few decades. He is a member of the Law Commission standing advisory panel and an Honorary Fellow in Criminal Process at the University of Kent. He chairs Butterworths' Conferences on Asset Recovery. He has been an elected member of the Bar Council and a member of the Criminal Bar Association Executive Committee.
