Overview Extremely widely experienced in serious, complex, and sensitive criminal cases, she has recently secured the acquittal of each of her clients as leading counsel in two high-profile terrorism cases. She is instructed to defend regularly in cases involving homicide, including the killing of children by their parents, and in cases of serious and sexual violence involving the evidence of vulnerable witnesses, and delicate cultural issues. She has much experience of acting for defendants who are themselves vulnerable, whether by reason of youth, mental illness, learning difficulty, or physical disability.
