Please note that the contract whereby Doughty Street Chambers provided free expert advice for SOLICITORS on Human Rights and Public Law as part of the Legal Services Commission's Specialist Support programme has now been terminated. However, our barristers are always willing to offer telephone advice to solicitors as part of our on-going service to firms who brief us at Doughty Street.

Please note that the new contract for public law is held by the Public Law Project.

If you require legal advice but are not eligible for the LSC service, you can ring the LSC Community Law Service helpline on 0845 345 4345 or go to the website of the Law Society and the Legal Service Commission which can give advice on finding a solicitor and on eligibility for help with legal fees.

Specialist training courses in Human Rights

Doughty Street Chambers provides CPD accredited training courses around the country to LSC Contract Holders as part of the Specialist Support programme. The training courses cover child law, education, housing, immigration, judicial review and HRA claims, mental health and social welfare and asylum issues.
