Acquitted of cocaine supply conspiracy after alleging corruption and plant against Nottingham Police

After a ten week trial at Birmingham Crown Court Gail  Pudwell and co defendants were acquitted of the regular supply of kilos of cocaine across Lincolnshire. Pudwell represented by Sarah Elliott was alleged by Nottinghamshire's Serious and Organised Crime Unit to have had 2 kilos of cocaine in the boot of her car on arrest. Her defence was that the investigation was corrupt, and included allegations against the police of the planting of the drugs and the theft of thousands of pounds of cash exhibits.
