CCRC refers Tahery back to the Court of Appeal

The Criminal Cases Review Commission has referred the case of R v Tahery back to the Court of Appeal following the decision of the Grand Chamber of the European Court of Human Rights that Mr. Tahery, represented by Rebecca Trowler QC, did not have a fair trial in light of the admission of untested hearsay evidence from a key witness. The case is expected to be heard by the Court of Appeal in the coming months.
