Criminal appeals seminar chaired by Paul Taylor, with Abigail Bright presenting, 18.4.2013

Solicitors attended a specialist seminar on criminal appeals at our Manchester chambers, on Thursday 18th April 2013. Paul Taylor chaired the seminar, which showcased papers on applications to the Criminal Cases Review Commission ('CCRC'), procedure in the Court of Appeal Criminal Division, and how to resist Attorney-General's references of what appear to be unduly lenient sentences.

The audience were told about the free criminal appeals advice line which is hosted by chambers, and which offers a free preliminary oral advice service. Follow this link for more information on our criminal appeals advice line.
