Doughty Street among big winners in 84-strong silk round

The annual round of QC appointments has been announced (27 February), with 84 taking silk, including four each from Doughty Street Chambers, Brick Court Chambers and Essex Court Chambers.

Doughty Street Chambers are recognised as one of the most successful sets in this year's round, with four members being appointed Queen's Counsel: David Bentley, John Jones, Joe Stone and Stephen Cragg. Doughty Street's associate tenant, Professor Geraldine Van Bueren, was also one of only eight appointments as an honorary QC.
