Francis FitzGibbon QC appears on “Guilty by Association” a BBC documentary

Francis FitzGibbon QC appears on “Guilty by Association”, a BBC documentary about the law of joint enterprise in murder cases (BBC1, 7th July 2014 at 22.35). He speaks about the difficulties that the law creates for juries when they have to decide whether a defendant predicted what another person might have intended to do, and the potential unfairness when all the members of a group can be charged on that basis. The programme is a companion piece to Jimmy McGovern’s legal drama ‘Common’, being broadcast on 6th July.
