Harriet Johnson to speak on protection of freedom of expression at international conference

Harriet Johnson has been invited to speak at the European Young Bar Association Spring Conference, which will take place in Aix-En-Provence from the 26th to 29th March. 

 

The theme for this year’s conference is ‘Freedom Of Speech’, in line with the Charlie Hebdo events in Paris earlier this year.  Harriet’s speech will focus on the European Convention on Human Rights and the protection of freedom of expression.

 

Harriet is a prominent barrister whose practice has often involved the specialist defence of those facing criminal proceedings after taking part in lawful protests.  Further details about Harriet’s practice can be found here.
