NH a client of Jeannie Mackie stood accused of conspiracy to rob and 2 counts of assisting an offender Ahmed Hajila in a 5 week trial   at Isleworth Crown Court.  She was accused of assisting the offender, who was subsequently convicted of attempted murder,  by allowing him to stay at her address on a few occasions .     Unusually for such offences, the Crown did not allege any other positive act, and the defence were able to establish that  his visits to her address had not, in fact, impeded his arrest or prosecution and that there was therefore no direct evidence of intention.  Her client was acquitted on all counts.

Jeannie Mackie was instructed by Bullivants Solicitors.
