Judith Farbey QC has been appointed as the London Region Lead Assistant Commissioner by the Boundary Commission for England to help manage the review of constituencies in England.

The BCE has today announced the appointment of 27 Assistant Commissioners, three in each of the nine regions across England. The Assistant Commissioners were selected through open public competition and represent a range of professions including law, accounting and the civil service. One Assistant Commissioner has been given the responsibility as the Lead in each region, and Judith has been selected to lead the London Region. The Assistant Commissioners will be responsible for writing regional reports to the BCE, summarising and considering feedback on the proposals and recommending whether - and, if so, how- the initial proposals for that region should be revised.
