Kirsty Brimelow QC comments in The Guardian on failures to implement standards of international law in refugee camps, which would go some way to preventing the current violence against refugee children travelling alone.  Kirsty also highlights a report published on 2nd August by the Bar Human Rights Committee (which she Chairs), which highlights allegations of police violence, police failure to protect residents within the camps, and a lack of access to justice.
