Diogenes was not a hoarder. So why is compulsive hoarding referred to as Diogenes Syndrome? This was just one of many interesting and complex issues explored on 20 November when Doughty Street presented the seminar "Hoarders, capacity & the alternatives to Eviction" to an audience drawn from the local legal and advice sectors.  John Hobson and Stephen Reeder from Doughty Street Chambers, together with Ragani Lindquist of the Office of the Official Solicitor gave an invaluable presentation on the role and procedures of the Official Solicitor.
