Northumbria Police chief in ‘misconduct’ probe

Joel Bennathan QC has been appointed by the Police Commissioner of Northumbria to investigate complaints made by officers against their Chief Constable. An investigator is appointed under Police Conduct Regulations and is tasked to establish the facts and assist the Commissioner is deciding if there is a case to answer.
