Paul Mason and Liam Walker Secure Acquittals in Money Laundering Trial

‘LG’ and ‘FG’ were acquitted of possession of criminal property at Southwark Crown Court, following a successful application of no case to answer at the end of the prosecution case.  The men were arrested with nearly €50,000, which had been concealed under a vehicle in an underground car park.  Despite having given inconsistent accounts about the ownership of the money and having tried to run away from police, Paul and Liam submitted that the case should be withdrawn from the jury, following the case of Goddard and Fallick.

Paul Mason and Liam Walker were instructed by Fiona McNamee.
