Q fever strikes MOD

In a high value claim against the MOD for the Chronic Fatigue resulting from untreated Q Fever suffered by the claimant marine on exit from Afghanistan in 2010, Theo Huckle QC yesterday succeeded in obtaining judgment against the MOD in default of disclosure.  This decision may well have considerable effects on the group of similar cases now proceedings before the courts in the UK.  It is not yet known whether the Government will seek to appeal.
