Sarah Elliott QC secures accepted plea to manslaughter for the alleged murder of Cardiff criminal solicitor

17.03.17 | |

Sarah Elliott QC successfully persuaded the Crown to accept a plea to manslaughter from her client accused of the murder of Alison Farr Davies, a criminal solicitor who had succumbed to heroin addiction. The Crown's case was that Ms Farr Davies had been beaten to death over hours but extensive work on the pathological and scientific evidence, and detailed analysis of the circumstantial evidence, enabled Sarah to persuade the Prosecution that a plea to manslaughter would be appropriate.

The case is widely reported in the media - click here and here for more information.

Sarah was instructed by Graham Evans & Partners in Swansea.
