Victory for fair trial rights in Strasbourg

The Grand Chamber of the European Court of Human Rights delivers the long awaited judgment in Al-Khawaja and Tahery v United Kingdom, finding a violation of the right to a fair trial in Mr. Tahery's case as a result of the admission of decisive hearsay evidence. Mr. Tahery was represented by Rebecca Trowler of Doughty Street Chambers.
