Doughty Street Criminal Appeals Unit is delighted to present the fourth in a series of seminars on criminal appeals and reviews.

This seminar is aimed at solicitors and case workers involved in challenging sentencing decisions of the crown court.

This seminar will look in detail at sentencing appeals. As well as a general overview of the area, it will cover historic IPP’s , extended sentences, and confiscation. The speakers will look at how to identify grounds of appeal and when the Court of Appeal is likely to intervene.
