-          Funding changes: the new Regulations

-          Upper Tribunal update

-          Case law update

The seminar aims to inform and update immigration lawyers on the rapidly changing landscape of judicial review.  Recent months have seen many immigration cases transfer to the Upper Tribunal, as well significant changes to public funding at the permission stage.  The present Criminal Justice and Courts Bill introduces further, major reforms that will affect everyone who works in this area.  Our two experienced trainers will give their views on how the changes are likely to work in practice, as well as presenting the latest case law.  There will  be plenty of opportunity for discussion.
