The Points Based System has been reshaped with startling frequency since its inception four years ago. With a raft of changes to the Immigration Rules due to take effect on 6 April 2012, the next new dawn is now upon us.

The speakers for this seminar have been involved in PBS casework and litigation from the outset. In this seminar, they will address the changes to the Rules in detail and consider their impact both for migrants and PBS sponsors. Topics covered will include:

- changes to Tier 4 sponsorship;

- changes to Tier 4 student requirements and conditions, including maximum time limits and restrictions on work, and the new rules for Tier 4 dependants;

- maintenance funds and English language requirements for PBS migrants;

- the new graduate entrepreneur route;

- employment related settlement;

- the latest changes under Tiers 2 and 5.

The speakers will also examine the evolving caselaw on requirements for leave and PBS sponsorship.
