Women Who Kill Their Children

Few groups of offenders offer greater challenges to the legal and medical systems than women who kill their children. Their cases generate courtroom controversy over causation and liability for those who present cases to juries, and those providing psychiatric evidence to courts who try and sentence them. This will be an overview of the issues such cases pose for lawyers and psychiatrists.
