Juliet is a housing and community care specialist pupil.

Before joining Doughty Street, Juliet worked as a paralegal in the Housing team at Edwards Duthie Shamash, where she managed a Legal Aid caseload covering social housing and private rented sector possession, homelessness, succession, disrepair and anti-social behaviour. She assisted clients who had related social care needs.

Juliet is experienced in communicating with vulnerable people and brings a trauma-informed approach to the Bar. Whilst completing her undergraduate studies in Psychology, Juliet undertook a placement year working in the psychology team at an NHS medium secure psychiatric hospital. At Doughty Street, she is keen to use this experience to assist vulnerable clients and those with complex mental health diagnoses.

Most recently, Juliet worked at Advocate, the Bar’s pro bono charity, triaging applications for assistance across all areas of law. She is committed to taking on pro bono work as part of her practice.
