Doughty Street Chambers AI Team will be hosting a series of seminars exploring AI and the Law in 2026.
Doughty Street Chambers AI Team is proud to support 5Rights Foundation through this event series.

Artificial Intelligence in the Criminal Justice System
Thursday 12 March 2026 | 18:00–20:00, followed by a drinks reception | Doughty Street Chambers
This seminar will explore how the criminal justice system is responding to emerging technologies.
We will be covering the legal response to challenges such AI-generated deepfakes, the growing use of surveillance tools including facial recognition technology, and the rise of AI systems designed to support legal work and decision-making.
Bringing these themes together, the session will examine the impact of technological change on evidence, procedure and fundamental rights.
