International Women's Day Celebration 2021

Join us on Saturday 6 March 2021 from 9:30am-12.30pm, as Doughty Street Chambers celebrates International Women’s Day (IWD).

Every year, we bring together a diverse group of lawyers, judges, politicians, campaigners and academics to explore what more the law can do for women and girls.

This year, the event will transition to a global online conference format, via Zoom. We will be joined by two panels of esteemed speakers who will focus on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on women’s rights from domestic and international perspectives.

In lieu of purchasing a ticket, this year we ask you to make a donation to Women’s Aid, a grassroots federation working to provide life-saving services in England to build a future where domestic abuse is not tolerated. Please donate to our fundraiser today!

Given these unprecedented and strange times, we anticipate that caring responsibilities, pet appearances and general homelife interruptions are likely to take place during the event. Please don’t let any concern on this front deter you from joining the webinar!

We look forward to seeing you there.
