The course is designed for practitioners acting for claimants who have a good understanding and experience in this field.
Advanced Actions Against the Police
As with previous years, the Advanced Actions Against the Police 2026 course will bring practitioners up to speed in relation to all legal, procedural and funding developments of relevance to civil actions against the police law over the past year and a half.
The training will also afford opportunities to discuss tactics with fellow claimant lawyers.
Attendees will hear from leading practitioners in the field, including:
- Private Law Update - Stephen Cragg KC, Doughty Street Chambers
- Public Law Update - Sarah Hemingway, Garden Court Chambers
- Procedure Update - Gus Silverman, Deighton Pierce Glynn
- Costs Update - Stephen Clark, Garden Court Chambers
The trainers will draw on their knowledge of developments in related legal areas and the course will be of interest to all those involved in public interest litigation.
