London Legal Walk 2025 – Donate Now!
Doughty Street Chambers was proud to take part in the London Legal Walk 2025 on the 17th of June, organised by the London Legal Support Trust. We walked alongside thousands of legal professionals in support of access to justice for all.
Since the Walk began 21 years ago, it has raised an incredible £11.5 million to help those in need access specialist free legal advice.
This year, we walked in support of life-changing organisations such as Advocate and the Free Representation Unit, who offer free legal assistance to those who need it most.
A huge thank you to our brilliant team of walkers - James Whiting, Julie Ahadi, Tallulah Mills-Hicks, Cynthia Francis, James Nash, Raimonda Krasninkeviciute, Sheena Byrne, Markus Findlay, Cara Hall, Louise Willocx, and Elizabeth Cleaver - for giving their time to support such a vital cause!
Donations are still open if you'd like to show your support: FUNDRAISING PAGE.
Free legal advice charities are finding it increasingly difficult to meet the needs of those in our community who require their support the most. By taking part in the London Legal Walk, we can support over 100 free legal advice charities each year, helping them provide more free legal advice to our communities.
These charities make a huge difference to people's lives, reducing debt, poverty, and homelessness, and combating discrimination and injustice. London Legal Support Trust also work with the charities to help them become more sustainable, help cut costs and improve their coordination and partnership working.
Many people across the UK cannot afford legal help and are at risk of going without justice when they need it most. One fifth (21%) of the UK population live in poverty - equivalent to around 14 million people.
Every step we take and every penny we raise brings us closer to a community where justice and support are accessible to all.
