Facilities Administrator

This position is intended to coordinate and assist with operational functions in Chambers and to maintain a high standard of service and practical support. This will involve coordinating with all staff and members to deliver an efficient and professional service, ensuring Chambers is well presented at all times.

Senior Practice Manager- Crime (Deadline: Weds 29th Aug, Midday)

We are seeking an exceptional and experienced individual to provide leadership for the Crime team and to work alongside the Senior Practice Manager for the Civil team.  Both Senior Practice Managers report directly to Mark Dembovsky, Chief Executive and form part of the senior leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of this sizeable team of 61 practitioners, who have specialist expertise in the most serious and complex criminal trials and appeals, financial and regulatory crime, extradition, and international criminal law.  These barristers, and the successful candidate, will also be supported by a Practice Manager, two Senior Practice Assistants, a Practice Assistant and a Practice Junior.

What key skills and experience are essential?

  • Previous experience leading a team, ideally with experience of working in a criminal team

  • Demonstrable success in bringing in new business and maximising the work coming in from existing clients
  • Leads, develops and manages teams who deliver consistently high standards of clerking
