Accountant cleared of all charges, following a 6 week trial at Leeds Crown Court

Rupert Bowers and Amos Waldman represented an accountant, A, who was today acquitted of all charges against him, at Leeds Crown Court.

A initially faced 2 allegations of Conspiracy to Defraud, and a further Count of Money Laundering.

Following the service of various items of secondary disclosure, which had been requested on A's behalf, and which supported his assertion that Co-Defendants had forged documents in his name, the Crown offered no evidence in respect of one of the Conspiracy Counts, at the close of their case.

A was today cleared by the jury, unanimously, of the remaining counts.
