British Airways sued in pilot sex abuse allegation

Tim Cooke-Hurle, instructed by Leigh Day, represents 16 child claimants in an action alleging the vicarious liability of British Airways for acts of sexual assault and rape by one of their pilots. The claim alleges that their pilot, Simon Wood, abused the children whilst he was an active participant in British Airway’s charitable program, including at orphanages in Kenya. It also alleges that British Airways failed to act on allegations against Mr Wood.
