Defendant not guilty in Murder and Manslaughter trial

16.03.16 | |

Piers Marquis has secured the acquittal of an alleged “Drugs Gang Boss” said to have murdered a drug dealer who stole from him. The Prosecution alleged a series of retribution attacks which culminated in the deceased sustaining a fatal subdural haematoma. The Defendant denied involvement in the fatal attack and maintained that rivals had been responsible for causing the injuries that led to death. Neuropathology evidence established a pre-existing brain injury that pre-dated the Defendant’s alleged involvement.

Piers Marquis was Instructed by Sasha Sidhu of SVS Solicitors.
