Doughty Street Chambers is delighted to announce our contribution as main sponsor to the Equal Rights Trust’s Bob Hepple Memorial Fund

14.04.16 |

The Equal Rights Trust is an independent international organisation combating discrimination and advancing equality worldwide. It promotes a unified human rights framework on equality in over 40 countries, pursuing its objectives through advocacy, litigation, development of resources, and movement building.

The Equal Rights Trust is committed to ensuring fair and equal access to the legal profession including the Bar. The aim of the Bob Hepple Memorial Fund is  to further this aim through the sponsorship of  a paid intern at the Trust; a candidate who otherwise would not have the financial means to apply. Bob Hepple was a brilliant anti apartheid campaigner, human rights lawyer, activist and person and we are delighted to be associated with his legacy.

The Fund is still accepting further donations which can be made here
