Emma Goodall, leading Abigail Bright, secured acquittals in a historic incest trial

Emma Goodall and Abigail Bright represented KB, who, over a nine-year period during the 1970s and 1980s, was alleged to have systematically buggered and sexually abused his younger brother when they were both children. It was a legally complex trial which involved multiple defendant and non-defendant bad character applications. The jury unanimously acquitted KB of all counts. The trial lasted eight days.

Emma Goodall and Abigail Bright were instructed by Kinneri Patel from MPR Solicitors.
