Extradition Order Quashed Due To Breach of Article 8 ECHR

Benjamin Newton, instructed be Edward Grange at Hodge Jones and Allen, has successfully appealed against an extradition order in relation to a mother (and sole carer) of three children. AM was sought by a judicial authority in Spain in relation to allegations of money laundering connected to her husband, already imprisoned in Spain, but Burnett J agreed that her extradition would represent a disproportionate infringement of the Article 8 rights of her daughters, one of whom suffers with physical and learning difficulties.
