Guilty Plea to Encouraging Terrorism and Inviting Support for a Proscribed Organisation

Mohammed Ameen was sentenced to a total of five years and at the Old Bailey following guilty pleas to offences of encouraging terrorism and inviting support for a proscribed organisation. Mr. Ameen had issued over 8,000 tweets from 16 different Twitter accounts using 42 different names over an eight month period. He was represented by Tim Moloney QC leading Catherine Oborne of Garden Court Chambers.
