Jelia Sane takes part in expert round table on strategic litigation before the EU supranational courts and UN treaty monitoring bodies

Jelia Sane was invited by the Dutch Council for Refugees  to take part in an  expert round table in Amsterdam on 20th October 2016  on  strategic refugee rights litigation before the ECtHR, CJEU and UN treaty monitoring bodies.  Jelia participated  alongside asylum experts from the UNHCR, AIRE Centre, Greek Refugee Council ,  European Council on Refugees and Exiles,  and Amnesty International.


The Dutch Council for Refugees  is the leading refugee rights NGO in the Netherlands and has submitted third party interventions in landmark refugee law cases, including  the case of  C-63/15 Ghezelbash before the CJEU relating to the scope of the right of an effective remedy under Article 27(1) Dublin III Regulation.
