Not Guilty Verdict Returned in Remembrance Day Beheading Plot

After a six-week trial at the Old Bailey (Central Criminal Court), two men were acquitted of plotting to behead a poppy seller or soldier during Remembrance Day celebrations as an act of  ISIS-inspired  terrorism.

Joel Bennathan QC, leading Hossein Zahir and instructed by Vajahat Sharif at Tuckers Solicitors, defended Haseb Hamayoon, one of the acquitted men.

The verdict has been widely reported in the press by outlets such as the BBC.
