Roy Harper acquitted of all charges

Defended by Adrian Waterman QC, veteran folk singer Roy Harper’s name has been cleared. Three complainants made allegations against him in the aftermath of the spate of publicity about other figures in the entertainment world. During a trial in early 2015, a number of the allegations were successfully defended. Some of the allegations relating to the one remaining complainant were to be re-tried in December 2015. However, following further disclosure by the prosecution and legal argument relating to false memory syndrome, the prosecution offered no evidence on 9 November 2015.

Adrian was instructed by Jenny Wiltshire at Hickman and Rose Solicitors.
