Teacher accused of multiple sex offences against children acquitted of all charges

Liam Walker, leading Tunde Okewale, represented AC, a teacher who was acquitted of a series of sexual offences against children.

After a two week trial, that included complex legal argument over issues of character, hearsay, disclosure, admissibility of evidence and prosecution case conduct, the jury at Inner London Crown Court returned unanimous verdicts on all 8 counts against AC.

AC was alleged to have, over a 2 year period, committed various sexual acts against two pupils in his care, who were under the age of 16.

Liam Walker and Tunde Okewale were instructed by Bob Dynowski, of Steel and Shamash solicitors and the National Union of Teachers.
