Doughty Street barristers listed in the Pro Bono Recognition List of England & Wales 2025

Doughty Street Chambers is delighted to announce twenty-four of our barristers who have been featured in the second edition of the Pro Bono Recognition List of England and Wales in acknowledgment of their commitment to ensuring access to justice for those who would otherwise have to navigate the legal system on their own:

The Pro Bono Recognition List recognises solicitors, barristers, chartered legal executives and registered foreign/European lawyers both in private practice and in-house who provided pro bono legal assistance over the last year. Among the recognised professionals are nearly 4,000 solicitors, 617 barristers, and contributions from chartered legal executives and registered foreign lawyers. 

Established by the Attorney General’s Pro Bono Committee, and endorsed by its patron, The Lady Chief Justice of England and Wales, The Baroness Carr of Walton-on-the-Hill the List is supported by A4ID, Advocate, The Bar Council, Clinical Legal Education Organisation, In House Pro Bono Group, The Law Society, LawWorks, TrustLaw and UK Collaborative Plan for Pro Bono secretariat.
