Garry Green KC secured unanimous not guilty verdicts on murder and manslaughter at the Old Bailey
Garry Green KC, leading Jemma Levinson (1MCB) secured unanimous not guilty verdicts on murder and manslaughter at the Old Bailey within 2 hours of jury retirement after a 3-week trial.
Garry’s client, a juvenile, was accused of the murder of Kieron Charles in April 2025. The prosecution alleged that his client, who was jointly charged with one co-accused attacked the deceased in act of retribution and revenge. The motive was alleged to have been formed after the deceased was acquitted of murder of a friend of the defendants at an earlier trial.
Through skilful cross-examination and exposure of CCTV the prosecution overlooked Garry exposed the flaws in the case and demonstrated his client acted in lawful self-defence when he stabbed the deceased. Garry was instructed by Kylie Francis of Wainwright & Cummins LLP, Brixton.
