Leonie Hirst joins our Court of Protection and Mental Health Team

We are delighted to announce that Leonie Hirst will be joining Doughty Street Chambers in September.

Leonie is an experienced practitioner with a broad-based civil practice covering a range of practice areas including Court of Protection, public law, immigration, prison law, inquests, mental health, community care, and discrimination and equality law. Her work has a particular focus on deprivation of liberty in a range of contexts and issues relating to mental capacity, discrimination and human rights in private and public law.

Leonie is on the Equality and Human Rights Commission ‘B’ panel of counsel and is ranked as a leading junior by Chambers & Partners in Court of Protection, Immigration, and Civil Liberties and by the Legal 500 in Civil Liberties.
