Sixteen Doughty Street barristers listed in the inaugural Pro Bono Recognition List 2024

Doughty Street Chambers is delighted to announce sixteen of our barristers who have been featured in the inaugural Pro Bono Recognition List of England and Wales in recognition of their dedication to providing access to justice for those who would otherwise have to face the legal system alone:

Antonia Benfield , Abigail Bright, Finnian Clarke, Sarah Dobbie, Laura Dubinsky KC, Tatyana Eatwell, Markus Findlay, Leonie Hirst, Oliver Lewis, Joe Middleton KC, Harj Narulla, Mukhtiar Singh, David StephensonPippa WoodrowAdam Wagner and Peter Carter KC.

The Pro Bono Recognition List recognises barristers and solicitors who have given 25 or more hours of pro bono legal assistance over the past year, and will be published annually from its launch this year. This year saw a total of 3,760 barristers and solicitors recognised, 476 of whom are barristers.

Established by the Attorney General’s Pro Bono Committee, and endorsed by its patron The Lady Chief Justice, the List is supported by the Law Society, Bar Council, and all major pro bono legal organisations.
