Amanda Hart appointed a Salaried Employment Judge of the Employment Tribunals

Doughty Street Chambers is delighted to share that The Lord Chancellor, The Right Honourable Alex Chalk KC MP, has appointed Amanda Hart to be a Salaried Employment Judge of the Employment Tribunals (England and Wales).

Amanda Hart will be assigned to the London South Region with effect from 2 April 2024.

Amanda was appointed to the Bar in 2001. Before coming to the Bar, she spent eleven years working for trade unions, representing members in local and national negotiations, and organising national campaigns including industrial action before joining Doughty Street in January 2004. In the twenty years at Doughty Street, Amanda provided expert advice and representation across a wide range of areas including employment, equality and discrimination, and regulation and professional discipline.
