Doughty Street Chambers wins in the LexisNexis Legal Awards 2024

Doughty Street Chambers is delighted to announce our latest successes at the LexisNexis Legal Awards 2024 awards.

Doughty Street International’s Climate and Environmental Justice Group has won the award for ‘International Team of the Year’  in recognition of ‘outstanding performance in the delivery of legal services to the international market’. Harj Narulla  attended the finalists’ awards ceremony to collect the award on behalf of the Group. The award recognises the Group’s members outstanding work in climate and environmental justice litigation since its inception, including in landmark proceedings at the International Court of Justice, the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea, and the Inter-American Court of Human Rights.

Adam Wagner won the Halsbury Award for Rule of Law in recognition of his work around the Covid-19 laws, public legal education and protecting the right to protest. This award recognises and celebrates commitment to the spread of fair and ordered government, law and justice, and will be presented to an individual or organisation able to demonstrate a sustained and recognised contribution to promoting the rule of law. 

Launched in 2013, the LexisNexis Legal Awards (formerly known as the Halsbury Legal Awards) celebrate excellence and innovation in the law and the legal profession.
