WORK EXPERIENCE

Our work experience programmes are designed to give disadvantaged young people an understanding of the various roles in the professional legal services environment.

We work closely with the following foundations to ensure fairness in allocating work experience opportunities.

  • The Tottenham Hotspur Foundation provides year 10 students, currently in foster care, with work experience placements.
  • The Crystal Palace Foundation, provides year 10 students from the boroughs of Lambeth, Croydon, Bromley and Sutton with work experience placements.

Doughty Street Chambers provides three placements for one week to each foundation.

During their time here, students can expect to take part in a well-rounded work experience programme which includes visiting courts, group activities, administrative support and, dependent upon availability, the opportunity to speak with barristers about the reality of life at the Bar.

If you are interested in work experience at Doughty Street, please apply using the links above. These are the only work experience schemes that we are currently offering.
