Adeola Fadipe, Cormac Devlin and Lameesa Iqbal join Doughty Street Chambers

Doughty Street Chambers is delighted to announce that Adeola Fadipe, Cormac Devlin and Lameesa Iqbal join our Employment, Discrimination and Equality Law team. 

All three of our new members have significant experience across employment litigation and will increase the depth and breadth of the team as well as the services we can offer to our broad client base. 

About Adeola Fadipe 

Adeola was called to the Bar in 2019. She has a strong track record of achieving excellent results in complex cases and has significant experience in disability discrimination claims and public appointments, consistently displaying strong strategic thinking and advocacy skills. Adeola is a member of both the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple and Bar Council Race Working Group.

About Cormac Devlin 

Cormac was called to the Bar in 2021. He has experience across a range of employment litigation, including discrimination, whistleblowing, interim relief, worker status issues, and group claims related to holiday pay. Before coming to the Bar, Cormac was a legal officer at United Voices of the World, where he represented workers in disciplinary hearings, the employment tribunal, and the Central Arbitration Committee. As a result of Cormac’s experience working for a trade union, he has a strong understanding of collective labour law.

About Lameesa Iqbal 

Lameesa was called to the Bar in 2021. She has experience with unfair dismissal, whistleblowing, withheld pay, and TUPE cases as well as a strong background in discrimination law. She has dealt with a variety of claims, including sex-based, race, and maternity discrimination in which she has acted for both claimants and respondents. Lameesa worked as an education law paralegal and was a Senior Director of the School Exclusion Project. She also volunteered with the National Centre for Domestic Violence and the No5 Chambers Immigration/Human Rights Project, as well as gaining experience of legal reform as a Legal Intern at JUSTICE.
