David Rhodes KC's Client Found Not Guilty of Murder and Manslaughter

David Rhodes KC led a team who today secured the acquittal of their client on charges of murder and manslaughter after a trial at the Old Bailey lasting 10 weeks.

The prosecution case was that David’s client was involved in a joint enterprise shooting in the early hours of 21 September 2025. David’s client was the first of five defendants on the indictment, and the jury had to consider ‘cut-throat’ defences. The defence case involved a forensic review and frame-by-frame deconstruction of the Crown’s analysis of CCTV. David’s team identified and then had enhanced additional footage which had been missed by the Crown. That footage changed the narrative of the case.

David was leading Katherine Lloyd of QEB Hollis Whiteman, instructed by Amjid Jabbar of Stokoe Partnership Solicitors.
