Ex Director General of IOPC acquitted of 17 counts of rape and sexual offences
Michael Lockwood the former Director General of the Independent Office of Police Complaints has been unanimously acquitted by an Old Bailey jury of all 17 counts of historic sex offences against two children. The allegations dated back to the 1980’s and caused Mr Lockwood to step down from his post and his role as co- chair of the Grenfell Tower Memorial Commission. Read more about the case here.
